It’s no secret—fairies are skilled craftswomen. I mean, look at the phenomenal homes they’ve built for their spring layover in Gardner Village! So it’s no wonder fairy crafts are a major part of the Woodland Fairy Festival 2019. There’s so much to see and do while you’re here. Consider this your official Craft Map of things to create when you visit.
FAIRY WANDS & FAIRY-CATURES AT THE ART COTTAGE
Cast a sweet spell with a wonderful wooden wand. Choose from many designs, add a splash of paint and glitter, and tie it with a ribbon to complete your charming accessory.
NEW THIS YEAR! Have a fairy-cature drawn. A local artist will share his sketching magic and bring your fairy personality to life in this unique sidewalk stop.

WANDS: All business hours throughout the WFF
FAIRY-CATURES: WFF Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm(ish)
FAIRY DUST BATH BOMBS AT M SOAPS
You know what they say, all you need is faith, trust, and a litte pixie dust. Kids will love mixing their pixie potion at this pour-your-own bathbomb dust station, and grownups will love that said potion will make bathtime more fun!

POUR YOUR OWN BATH DUST: All business hours throughout the Woodland Fairy Festival
A fairy is nothing if not a fashionista. Beyond the wings and head things, she likes to complete the outfit with jewelry. No wonder this bracelet make-and-take at Spoiled Rotten is so popular. Stop by, pick your fav fairy color, and get to accessorizing!

FAIRY BRACELETS: Create them at the Woodland Fairy Festival Saturdays from noon to 2:00 pm
FAIRY WANDS, CROWNS, COLORING AND CROSSSTITCH AT POSH PAPERIE
For fairies who want a coordinated look, Posh Paperie has DIY felt wands and floral crowns you can try on for size.

While older children put their projects together, the younger fairies can enjoy coloring in a darling fairy booklet.

Don't worry, Mom. You can get in on the magic of the making, too. Grab a fairy cross stitch kit or a fairy peg doll kit and take it home to keep that happy, creative feeling in the air.

FELT FLOWER WANDS & FLORAL CROWNS: Saturdays from noon to 2:00 pm
FAIRY COLORING: All business hours throughout the festival
FAIRY CROSS STITCH KITS: Available for purchase in store
FAIRY PEG DOLL KITS: Available for purchase in store
COOKIE CLASSES AND CUPCAKE PARTIES AT NABORHOOD BAKERY
Fairies, food, and fun! You'll find all three at Naborhood Bakery. With both children's cupcake classes and adult fairy cookie classes, this is a bright spot for a girl's night out or time spent with the babes.

Not convinced, take a look at the cookies that you'll learn to decorate as part of the adult fairy cookie class. 'Nuf said!

CHILDREN'S CUPCAKE PARTIES: Saturdays, May 4, 11, 18, 25 and June 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm
ADULT COOKIE CLASSES: Fridays, May 17 and 24, 2019, at 6:00 pm (includes light dinner)
After seeing the many fairy gardens on display at the Woodland Fairy Festival, it’s hard not to catch the bug. Now you can have that whimsical feeling at home. Make a mini garden outside at Aunt Elsie’s every Saturday. Or, for a more in-depth look at DIY fairy gardens, sign up to make a larger fairy pot. Call the store for more details on registering.

MINI FAIRY GARDEN CRAFT: Saturdays from noon to 2:00 pm during the Woodland Fairy Festival
LARGE FAIRY GARDEN POT: By reservation only (call 801.561.5557)
Bring the fairy feeling home with a pom pom garland. You can either take a kit home or make your puffy pretties in store. It’s a wonderful way to bring some spring to your house!

POM POM GARLANDS: All business hours throughout the WFF
Wow! Never a dull moment when it comes to our winged friends. Don't worry about packing all of this fun into a single Gardner Village visit. The Woodland Fairy Festival runs now through June 15, 2019. There's time to make a few trips and experience it all. Hope to see you at this fab fest soon!
Cheers!
