The Art Cottage is under new ownership! What happens when ideas take shape and stars align? Dreams come true! Need proof? Step inside The Art Cottage—an art retreat in the heart of Gardner Village. It’s a two-story shop with a special story to tell. We wanted a place where we could share our passion for art as well as support other local Utah artists. A place the community could gather to both purchase original designs and also tap into their own unique talents as they learn about and celebrate creativity. As we planned and imagined, we knew one thing to be true—it had to the perfect location. “Somewhere like Gardner Village,” was actually stated as we brainstormed possibilities. As luck would have it, that perfect location had just become available—a two-story house with room for both a retail space and a classroom. Suddenly, our dream found its home and became a beautiful reality!

Highly experienced instructors teach classes on a variety of topics to students of all ages (6 and up). And the holidays and special events are made all the more memorable with our engaging activities (seasonal make-and-take projects, date nights, and more!). From painting and drawing to tie-dye, clay and mixed media, children will unleash their artistic talents while making new friends and creating lasting memories. Activities are tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Fees vary and camps run June through the first week of August each year.We’re called The Art Cottage for a reason—we want gallery art to feel accessible and you to feel at home in our inviting space.
