Gardner Village Blog Three ChristMust-Dos That are Good for the Soul
Wednesday Nov 24 2021

It’s official — the Santa hat is in position upon the water tower. Let the holiday season begin! Some may look at this as a time of added to-dos and over spending, which can feel overwhelming. To counter that, we thought we’d present you with a list of ChristMust-Dos that have a far jollier take!

Gardner Village

ChristMust-Do #1: Time with Loved Ones

This is the perfect time of year to make a tradition of gathering with friends. Let Gardner Village be a fun meeting spot for you to exchange a hug and spend some quality time together. Whether you enjoy a more intimate experience with one someone special, such as a buggy ride throughout The Village with Cowboy Santa, courtesy of The Farm, or you come with a group for some challenge and adventure at A Great Escape, there is much to do together here.

ChristMust-Do #2: Slow Down

Even though Gardner Village is conveniently located just off 1-15 and a TRAX line, it really does feel like it’s set apart from the rush of city life. Our snapshot of Utah history is alive in lights, with each locally-owned shop decorated. The trees twinkle. Holiday music fills the air. It really is a calm place to simply stroll and enjoy the atmosphere. Of course, you can also check off some holiday shopping and enjoy a meal while you’re here, making a convenient spot to stop, shop, and stroll!

ChristMust-Do #3: Have Fun

That’s right, have yourself a MERRY little Christmas. Rather than fuss about the perfectly placed wreath or latest tree trends, plan for more fun. Our FREE Elf Displays & Scavenger Hunt are just the ticket for getting away to simply play for a bit, and our playful elves are the perfect sources of carefree inspiration.

ChristMust-Do #4: Capture the Magic

Whether you get professional photos at Camera Shy, which double as AMAZING gifts, or you simply snap a few pics with your phone, we always encourage you to find those photo moments. Ten years from now, as your smart device pops up with an "On This Day" reminder, you'll love looking back on images of time spent together.

Camera Shy

Want this level of photo magic gracing your camera roll? Consider this is a friendly reminder to schedule your Santa and Reindeer photo shoot with the professionals at Camera Shy. Spots fill up sooo fast. Of course, with pics like this (courtesy of Camera Shy) and a backdrop that's only available to those who've booked a Santa session, it's easy to see why!

Whatever happens to fall on your ChristMust-Do list, we hope it comes back to time spent together, enjoying the fun and wonders of the season! Find even more festive ideas here.

A Message of Thanks

There’s been much talk of Christmas, but we mustn’t overlook the fact that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Having this opportunity to pause and express gratitude means the world to us. YOU mean the world to us. Thanks for bringing your families and traditions and overall happiness to The Village year after year. May this holiday season fill you with as much joy as your visits bring to us!

Happy holiday season, friends!
