Gardner Village History Hunt

We love celebrating Utah’s pioneer heritage, and we're proud of our roots as a Utah Historic Site. Our story began with Archibald Gardner, an early Utah pioneer who built 36 mills during his lifetime. One of those original mills still stands today and is home to Archibald’s Restaurant and CF Home. This landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the focal point of Gardner Village. The history extends far beyond the mill. Many of the buildings were relocated from communities across Utah, preserving their character, craftsmanship and stories for future generations. When you visit, you’re doing more than enjoying a day of shopping, dining and entertainment. You’re stepping into a living piece of Utah and American history, where every building has a story to tell and every visit connects the past with the present.
