Our Woodland Fairies aren’t the only ones taking flight right now. The Gardner Village shops are in full fairy motion with fun make-and-take projects, special events, and fanciful fairy merchandise. From fairy parades and unicorns to train rides and crafts, let’s take a look at what’s in store for you through June 26, 2021.
WOODLAND FAIRY PARADES AT SPOILED ROTTEN
WHEN: Every Saturday at noon now through June 26, 2021.
Most of the fairies you’ll spot at The Village are tiny, but every now and then you’ll find one with extra ‘people’ magic who’s made herself into a human-sized fairy friend. These gorgeous sprites happily host a weekly parade with stops throughout The Village.
The fun begins outside of Spoiled Rotten Children’s Boutique, where the mood is set with music. This quaint shop hosts the parade each week.
With a parade put on by fairies, it’s best to expect the unexpected. You never know when a sweet bear bearing gifts might happen by from Chocolate Covered Wagon.
Come prepared to share your heart’s desire… secretly, of course. You’ll frolic across the Wishing Bridge, where you’ll learn how to pass your deepest wants onto the fairies who just LOVE making magic happen.
What’s a fairy parade without a dance party?
Of course, a human-sized fairy isn’t complete without her lovely unicorn. Our friends at The Farm just happen to have one in their care.
Of course, YOU are the real stars of this show. Come in your finest fairy fashion or get dolled up once you’ve arrived. Several of our shops carry fairy accessories, and you’ll find runway-ready fairy attire at Spoiled Rotten Children’s Boutique and The Crystal Fairy.
Seems safe to say this is so much more than just a casual stroll about The Village. At this parade, you’ll dance, you’ll sing, and, of course, you’ll take plenty of pics. No wonder this has quickly become a favorite annual spring/summer tradition for Utah families!
FAIRY CRAFTS
The shops at Gardner Village know how to get in on the fun. Here are a few of the make-and-take projects you can look forward to with your next visit:
What’s a fairy hunt without proper gear? Prepare to spot those fairies like a boss with these adorable, yarn-wrapped binoculars.
At last, a dust that we WANT to have on hand. Choose from one of several colors and bottle up some pixie sparkle to brighten up your home. Cost is $8 per bottle.
If you’re looking for the fairy experts, you’ve come to the right place. Learn fascinating details about these captivating creatures while creating a Fairy Offering Bag, filled with eco-friendly treasures you can leave for fairies to find.
Bring your own garden to life with a miniature fairy scene. Kids and adults alike enjoy creating these charming one-pot-fairy-stops. If relaxing with a spot of tea (or another refreshing beverages) is more your thing, you'll want to sign up for a seat at the Fancy Fairy Tea Party. Learn more here.
