Welcome to Wedding Planning Part 2! Last week, we checked many items off our list — the dress, the bridal party attire, those adorable flower girl dresses, the mother of the bride, the cake, the stationery, and, of course, the flowers. Today, we’ll dive into the remaining items on our list and discover how one stop at Gardner Village can help you check off nearly all of your planning to-dos. Let’s see… where’d we leave off?

ITEM 7: The Ceremony/Reception Location
This one might prove to be the most difficult item on your list, simply because Gardner Village provides numerous event-venue options. The good news is, there’s something for nearly every party size, including indoor and outdoor choices. All options include on-site catering options and a space you can customize to best fit your party’s needs.
With both an impressive indoor space and a more intimate patio area, The Gathering Place easily accommodates many wedding and reception needs.

The Gear Room
Located on the lower level of Archibald’s Restaurant, The Gear Room offers a unique ambiance that can only be found when a historic Utah flour mill is your backdrop.

This space is the best of all worlds, combining the lighting and romance of an outdoor, under-the-stars venue with the comfort of indoor climate control. Plus, the fire pits and fireplace add to the ambience of it all.

This is Gardner Village’s newest event space. Like the Gear Room, the Wheel Room is located on the lower level of Archibald’s Restaurant, with the historic flour mill acting as a fascinating focal point. But don’t let “historic” fool you. This space is amazingly modern and gorgeous, combining the highly sought after industrial look with a softer, romantic finish. Plus, with plenty of natural light flowing in and Gardner Village’s renowned water wheel right out the window, it’s a space your guests will remember long after your celebrating is through.

Bridal Suits Available
With any of the aforementioned event locations, you have the option of including a bridal suite. This private space will give you a place to retreat and prepare for the fun that awaits.

ITEM 8: Party Treats and Sweets
For the best in sweet indulgences at your celebration, Chocolate Covered Wagon is where it’s at. From their mouthwatering chocolates to their hand-pulled caramels and divine salt water taffy, there are many ways to put delicious finishing touches on your wedding fiesta.

ITEM 9: Showers, Bridal Brunch, etc.
For smaller party needs, such as bridal showers and bridal-party gatherings, you’ll find numerous private party areas at Gardner Village.
Whether you book an events space or opt for a closed-off area of the restaurant, such as The Silo, you’ll find a lovely space to gather with your girls before the grand event.

This brand new Gardner Village space seats up to 10, offering you a charming place to play with those closest to you.

Many don’t know there’s a private garden outside The Gathering Place. With a beautiful water feature, lovely lighting, and plenty of table space, this is a divine place to celebrate a shower.

ITEM 10: Party, Evening & Honeymoon Wear
Now that you know where your festivities will be held, it's time to plan the additional outfits. Whether you're looking for something to wear to your bridal bunch or a reception outfit for your mama and the mother of the groom, Boda Bridal offers numerous designer options.
A wedding gown isn’t a bride’s only day-of wedding need. Brides often have a reception outfit to change into before the party begins. Others opt for a getaway outfit to wear as they’re leaving the festivities. Of course, honeymoon fashion is also an important element to consider. Boda Bridal has you covered in all departments.
ITEM 11: Your New Home Together
Whether you’re going to a wedding and want a gift or you want to treat yourself to something special as you embark on this next chapter of your lives together, Layers Bedding is sure to be your favorite shopping spot. Find the best in bedding, home decor, home scents, and more.

Phew! This wedding-planning business isn’t for the fait of heart. No wonder brides all over Utah and even surrounding states are choosing to do their planning at Gardner Village. With everything from gowns to wedding/reception locales in one convenient location, you can eliminate the stress of planning your perfect day and simply enjoy putting each detail into motion. Gardner Village experts love having a part in your happily ever after. Together, we’ll make it the celebration of your dreams.
