A little hocus, plenty of pocus, a wave of a wand, and… voila! A special new place to enjoy time together in Utah is now open. Please join us in welcoming The Prestige: Parlour of Magic to Gardner Village.
This newest addition to Gardner Village has plenty of tricks up its sleeve, sure to make your next outing extra magical. Like its sister property, Mystique Dining, which opened at Gardner Village in 2018, The Prestige takes “dinner and a show” to the next level.
MYSTIQUE VS. THE PRESTIGE
If you’ve been lucky enough to visit Mystique Dining, you know the cost of admission includes a five-course meal and a magic show. While The Prestige has the same Vegas-quality headliners, the meal is handled slightly differently, making it a more affordable option. The base price reserves your seat and includes an entrée of your choosing. Beyond that, you’re free to order appetizers, specialty drinks, and desserts as you wish at the venue, allowing you to make your meal as grand or simplistic as you desire. Suddenly, you have an unusual night out for around the same amount as it would cost to do the usual dinner/movie routine.
The magic show experience also differs slightly from The Prestige to Mystique. Mystique is an up-close show, where The Prestige performers are on a stage, allowing for different performance options.
ACT 1: DINNER
The fun starts with a distinctive menu of comfort foods, including pot pies, gourmet mac and cheese, vegetarian options, and more. (NOTE: Menu subject to change. See the current menu here.) Following dinner, experience premiere stage magic in a very cool vintage parlour theatre. Throughout your visit, you can continue to enjoy appetizers, specialty drinks, and the always-popular gourmet dessert crepes. There’s even an on-site bar for specialty mocktails, hot chocolate, and, coming in November, wine and beer.
ACT 2: AN UNFORGETTABLE SHOW
Those familiar with magic will recognize the names of the magicians who come through The Prestige. Only the best, world-class entertainers are brought in. These icons are rotated through every one to two weeks, ensuring a unique experience often.
FUN FOR (NEARLY) ALL AGES
All in all, this 2.5-hour experience is a truly enchanting way to enjoy time out with the family, a special date night, or a lively evening out with friends. This experience is recommended for ages eight and older, and reservations are required.
Abracadabra! With just the click of a link, your dinner reservation awaits.
CATERING TO COVID CONCERNS
Believe it or not, The Prestige opened after the pandemic hit. While opening a business in such times does seem to require a little extra wand waving from time to time, it also allows the business to design its space to specifically address COVID-related regulations. At least six feet of space remains between each table/party. And until social distancing guidelines are lifted, you will not be seated at a table with members outside your party. Tables begin with seats of four, so this means an entire table will be marked as reserved, even if you’re only dining as a group of two or three.
A WARM WELCOME
Please raise a glass and join us in welcoming The Prestige: Parlour of Magic to Gardner Village. In the few weeks its been open, it has already added so much to the experience offerings available here at Gardner Village. For more information on what The Prestige has to offer, who the current headliner is, or what's on the menu at the moment, you'll want to visit their website or give them a call. Your night of amazement awaits!
Cheers!
