Fairy, fairy, oh, so merry,
How does your garden grow?
Each tiny door, pinecones, and more,
Your sweet homes put on a great show!
There’s nothing contrary about the growers of these unique gardens. Each intricate display found at the Woodland Fairy Festival was handcrafted by magical Gardner Village fairies. And every year offers something new to explore.
Here’s the best part—a tour from tiny door to tiny door means FREE family fun and a chance to get outside and enjoy the springtime.
INSPIRATION ABOUND
If you’ve ever dreamed of adding your own fairy enchantment to your yard, a visit to The Village is sure to inspire. There are so many unique ideas, many of which are created with pieces you likely have right out your front door!
It's like a real-life Pinterest parade, as you walk from display to display. Whether you want to add a few tiny touches to your flower bed or go all out in the backyard, you'll find plenty of ideas to get your creative wings a flutterin'!
YOUR PICTURE PARADISE
As we mentioned last week, a visit to the Woodland Fairy Festival on a Saturday means so much to see and do. From the free Fairy Parades and face painting to plenty of sidewalk crafts and special guests, there’s never a dull moment! But any day of the week is a brilliant day to visit if you simply love capturing enchanting fairy photos of your littles.
Grab a pair of wings and a tutu or come as you are (wings, wands, and more are available throughout The Village to purchase and support our locally-owned shops!) and put that camera phone of yours to work. Children of all ages look so sweet in this serene secret garden!
NOTE: Gardner Village is closed Sundays.
A SPRING SCENE
If you’ve never been to The Village this time of year, you are truly missing out. It’s in full bloom. The trees are loaded with blossoms. The gardens are alive with colorful flowers. The baby ducks are swimming in the water. Even if fairy wings aren't your thing, it's impossible not to be captivated by the lovely new growth and life.
A visit is the perfect way to welcome warmer weather and the prettiest backdrop for family photos. (Call Camera Shy, our on-site photo studio, if you’re interested in having a pro share their favorite spots and take portraits you’ll adore.)
Of course, you never know when a fairy might photobomb your site seeing. ;)
MAKE A MERRY MEMORY
Yes, there’s nothing the least bit contrary about this garden or its growers. Instead, it’s all quite merry—a welcoming, friendly place to visit and a memorable spring tradition to enjoy with your family and friends.
Cheers!
