Nearly 24 years ago, The Gathering Place opened at Gardner Village. The Village didn’t have designated spot to host events, which was something Village co-owner, Joe Long, wanted so he got to work on this special spot.
Today, Gardner Village is home to six unique event areas that you can reserve for gatherings of all sizes. Learn more about each option here.
A NEW LOOK
The Gathering place has received many updates and renovations since it first opened in November 2000, but this year it was treated a full remodel. This included building updates as well as the many amenities within.
ABOUT THE GATHERING PLACE
The Gathering Place The Gathering Place can seat up to 320 people and as many as 500 in an open house setting.
Events range from corporate meetings and holiday parties to celebratory showers and, of course, weddings!
“Weddings are my favorite,” says Luis Moran, Event Venues Manager at Gardner Village. “I love being a part of such a special day and helping make it memorable. I get teary eyed with every wedding, and trust me, I’ve seen a lot of weddings. You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but I’m not. I’m moved by every wedding I am lucky enough to witness.”
The Gathering Place has a private area for brides and bridal parties to get ready ahead of the big event.
“We love supporting brides and helping them make their wedding dreams a reality,” Luis added. “It really is a magical experience!”
WITCHFEST
Beyond private events, The Gathering Place is also a key stop during WitchFest. It hosts Breakfast with a Witch, a character breakfast not to be missed. It’s also where the always-popular Witchapalooza musical dinner theater takes place. Tickets for these events go on sale August 8, 2024 at approximately noon. Learn more here.
“Like our Gardner Village witches, our team at The Gathering Place has a little magic up our sleeves,” Luis laughed. “It’s really something to see this space go from the elegance of a wedding to the wild ways of the witch in just a few hours.”
DINING
A big plus to booking an event at The Gathering Place is the option to cater.
“We have an amazing banquet team,” Luis said. “They’re experts in making your event menu a tasty success!”
Ready to start planning your next celebration? Whether you’re tying the knot, revealing a baby’s gender, or enjoying your 50th wedding anniversary, The Gathering Place is a beautiful backdrop for all of life’s special occasions.
Of course, this is also an ideal spot to gather for work events, conferences, holiday parties, and more.
See the remodel for yourself. Our team at The Gathering Place would love to give you a tour. Learn more about this and our many other event locations here.
Cheers!
