Who needs a shelf when you have Gardner Village? It’s THE place for those elves to hang out this time of year.
The elves pulled in and set up camp last weekend, just in time for the Christmas season (and just ahead of the snowfall!).
Santa’s elves didn’t waste any time getting to work.
After all, Christmas is just weeks away, and there's much to do in the meantime.
You’ll find our friends sorting Santa’s mail…
…altering Mr. C’s travel wear…
…testing toys…
…and checking that naughty and nice list, of course. Uh oh! Looks like a handful of boys and girls have a large lump of coal headed their way!
If you’re lucky, you’ll even run into an elf or two helping out in our shops, like these beauties at Down to Earth.
Don't worry, these whimsical workers find plenty of time to eat, drink, and be merry as well.
Free Elf Scavenger Hunt
This is just a small glimpse of the holiday happiness that awaits you at The Village. Think you have what it takes to find every festive fella and goofy gal? Now through Dec. 31, 2019, test your elf-spotting skills with our free Elf Scavenger Hunt. Whether you come on your own or with a group, you only need one form, which you can download here. You can also grab one outside of Archibald’s Restaurant.
Don't Forget to Snap an Elfie Selfie
Festive photo opps are around every corner. Take a break between stores and take the opportunity to snap yours. #elfieselfie
Treat Yourself
Bring your completed scavenger hunt form to Chocolate Covered Wagon to claim a sweet treat—a piece of their famous salt water taffy. Mmmmm… It’s the stuff sugar plum dreams are made of!
Gardner Village After Dark
Elf play during the day is always nice, but The Village really comes alive at night. The trees twinkle, the shops sparkle, and the gardens glow. It really is a magical scene!
Adding to the atmosphere, carolers occasionally visit.
The Elf Experience
There are certainly advantages to having Santa’s workshop set up right in our backyard. It means an enchanting holiday shopping experience for you. Instead of glaring fluorescent lights, loud music blaring from every speaker, hoards of people scrambling for the same six gifts, and impersonal exchanges with exhausted personnel, you’ll find warm holiday lighting, soothing tunes (sometimes sung by choir), an entire Village of space to move about in, and local business owners, happy to help you find the perfect gifts for the ones you love. It really is a drastic departure from the common holiday shopping surroundings, and we have North Pole magic to thank. Come experience it for yourself. You’ll be glad you did!
Have your ELF a merry little Christmas!
