SEE WINTER IN A WHOLE NEW LIGHT AT GARDNER VILLAGE!

Gardner Village Blog Quick Project Idea from Pine Needles: Shower/Party Decor
Wednesday Mar 8 2017

Is a baby or wedding shower in  your future? Your friends at Pine Needles in Gardner Village have a quick decor idea to try.

Dress up the entry window, space over the gift table, or another area of party focus with raindrops!

This display, made by store owner Sandy Workman, brought a fresh feeling to the Pine Needles store window in the spring, and it would easily work as awesome overhead party decor.

Simply cut raindrops from tissue paper, and stitch the drops together in a row using a sewing machine. TIP: Stitching heavier weight paper, such as patterned paper or cardstock, may be an easier entry point if you're new to sewing on paper. Once you have enough raindrop length, cut the stitched line into smaller lengths and string them up. Add bitty doll umbrellas to the mix for further forecast fun.

If you decide to give this a go, we'd love to see you share your showers with us on Instagram. Post a pic and tag @pineneedlesutah and @gardnervillage so we can admire your rainy day.

Cheers!
