You see, we're gearing up for the ribbon cutting celebration to welcome the highly-anticipated Mill Plaza to Gardner Village. This project has been months in the making, which is evident by every stunning detail. Let’s take a look around Utah’s hottest new event space and see what’s in store!
With a space this pretty, a grand entrance seems in order. Aren’t these doors something? Like the rest of the Mill Plaza project, they capture the industrial elegance Gardner Village and the historic Gardner Mill are known for.
This intimate outdoor setting, which sits in front of CF Home and Archibald’s Restaurant, is Plaza paradise. I realize it’s a bit off to call such a front-and-center space “intimate,” but that’s the feel it offers, as it’s set down on the lower level of the property and only accessible through controlled entrances.
One such Mill Plaza entrance is through the lower level, through The Cellar. This sleek new addition to the lower level of Archibald’s opens up to Mill Plaza, giving guests the option to have an open bar with their events.
Once inside, you’ll find awesome amenities, including…
A gorgeous fireplace!
A LARGE screen TV, great for slideshows and other presentations.
Beautifully-groomed grounds. No wonder this is such a lovely photo backdrop!
Modern fire pits with rustic charm!
Incredible water fixtures, including the famous Gardner Mll water wheel, as well as many new H2O companions!
Romance! If a wedding is in your future (congratulations!), the environment doesn’t get much more romantic. Just look at this happy couple. As they were standing near The Plaza, taking a peek, they appeared to get swept up in the romance of it all. And I snapped a picture, like a creepy lurker in the background. lol I couldn’t help myself. They were just so cute! And it was just so perfect, given our surroundings. It really is an enchanting space.
In fact, as I was taking photos, I overheard onlookers ooohing and ahhhing. One passerby said, “Look at that! Isn’t it gorgeous?! It’s just gorgeous! Wow!” I couldn’t agree more. It really is a must-see. My photos don’t begin to do the beauty of the space justice.

Now that you’ve taken the tour, let’s talk options. Mill Plaza can be set one of three ways, giving you the ultimate in customization as you plan your gathering. From drinks to dining to dancing, any celebration will be made magical.
Option 1: Social Hour
Standing room, only. Not really, of course. Mill Plaza is a wide open space with plenty of room for plenty of guests. But the tall tables are rolled out and dressed up for the Social Hour option.
Tall tables make it easy to stand and mingle with guests as you enjoy a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, a corporate gathering, or any other mixer in the mix.
Option 2: Formal Dining
The linens are pressed, the centerpieces are placed, and the tables are set. It’s time to sit and be served. Archibald’s offers complete catering in this striking outdoor setting.
Option 3: Reception
Get the full Mill Plaza experience with it set in reception fashion. Tables will be dressed for dining, but you’ll also have plenty of space for dancing the night away under the pretty patio lights strung overhead.
