Actually, truth be told, we’ve been making merry since July, as that’s when people start reaching out to schedule their holiday parties at Gardner Village. Whether you’re hosting a personal celebration or a corporate affair, the elves at The Village are here to help. Plus, we also have a two of the most festive tickets in town available – Breakfast with Santa and the Home for the Holidays dinner theater show. Let’s explore how you can fill your upcoming events with fun during November and December.
Take your dinner-and-a-movie routine to the next level with dinner and a live show. There are actors and singers on stage who are trained to entertain, making this a wonderful way to celebrate the season with the fam. If you’re a fan of Witchapalooza Dinner Theater, you’re going to love this memorable experience. The show is recommended for ages 12 and up, and children under three are not permitted. Did you know Gardner Village has six holiday event spaces between The Gathering Place, The Cottage and Archibald's Restaurant? These rooms range in size from small to large, so we can accommodate parties of 10-400 people. And when we say party, we mean several food options, professional decorating, plenty of AV (audio visual) options, and more. Every event is assigned an event specialist to work alongside you during planning, and you’ll have a dedicated event coordinator throughout your party to ensure your every need is met.
FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS
When you book an event at Gardner Village during the holidays, your food is served in a family style/buffet approach. We're well known for our generous portions, so your guests are sure to leave satisfied! You have several menu options to choose from, including various main and side dish options. The Holiday Trimmings Appetizer option is a popular one this time of year.
The weather outside may be frightful come December, but your party won’t be. Add hot apple cider or our popular hot cocoa bar to your menu. What better way to welcome guests in from the cold and warm their spirits? Speaking of making spirits bright, a full bar package can be added to your event. We ask that you give us three weeks’ notice when requesting bar service.
DECORATING OPTIONS
When it comes to setting the scene, our team knows how to light it up. Each of our event spaces have gorgeous ambiance, including the option to add centerpieces and other special touches. We say “the option,” because we understand how much fun decorating can be. If you have your own look and pieces in mind, you bet you can add those special touches. We commonly see our event guests bringing in their own florals and such and are happy to support that approach. If, on the other hand, you’d like to sit back and let us do all the work, we’re here to make that happen.
AV (audio visual) OPTIONS
Whether you’re hosting in one of our smaller spaces or booking The Gathering Place for a large event, you’ll have high-quality AV equipment. This includes a sound system and microphone, as well as a screen to share slideshows, photos, and other presentations. We can even adjust our furniture arrangement to accommodate any presentation needs you might have (awards tables, display areas, raffles, gift exchanges, etc.).
ENTERTAINMENT & EXTRAS
While we don’t provide DJs or live entertainment for private events, we ARE in the entertainment biz and we have connections. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you want reliable recommendations or event partners we use regularly. NOTE: Only The Gathering Place is set up to accommodate a live DJ or live band.
CALENDAR OPTIONS
Here’s where things start to get tricky. Because people start booking their holiday events in July, our Thursday-Saturday timeslots are spoken for. We are closed Sundays. Fortunately, we still have space available Monday-Wednesday, now through the end of December 2024. We have both breakfast and dinner menu options, and our event spaces are available from 7am to 10pm. With this many times available, we hope you can find something to fit your festive needs.
