Looks like the luck o’ the Irish is on our side. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the talented chef behind Archibald’s Restaurant is giving us their famous recipe for fried GREEN tomatoes!
Step 1: Slice your tomatoes.
Great Green Fact: Green tomatoes are simply basic tomatoes that have yet to ripen.
Step 2: Mix salt, pepper, and flour in a shallow pan and cover tomoatoes in seasoned flour.
Step 3: Dip in buttermilk.
Step 4: Coat in panko breadcrumbs.
Step 5: Chill in the freezer for at least 12 hours. Fry in canola oil for five to six minutes. It's tomato time!
Ranch Salsa
Combine ranch dressing and picante salsa to taste. Sprinkle with paprika. Serve and enjoy!
