Gardner Village is your one-stop shop for unique party possibilities. From birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries to team building exercises, church outings, and youth adventures, we make larger group gatherings easy to plan. We also offer numerous one-of-a-kind party packages for smaller groups (birthdays, date nights, play dates, girls' night out, etc.) in the Salt Lake City area. Many private events can even be combined to create a unique and memorable experience.* Whatever your reason for celebrating, we have you covered! CHOCOLATE PARTIES AT CHOCOLATE COVERED WAGON
Nothing says “party” quite like chocolate! At least that’s how they roll at Chocolate Covered Wagon. Take fresh fruit and other goodies for a dip in delicious, handmade chocolate. At this party, playing with food is encouraged. Create your own cookie critters, ‘mallow men, and anything your imagination (and sweet tooth!) can dream up. You'll also learn the secret behind their famous salt water taffy (as seen on The Travel Channel) before trying your hand at pulling your own sample. Wagon ho! TEA PARTIES AT GEORGELL DOLL SHOP
Time to get dolled up. If sipping juice or lemonade and enjoying snacks in an enchanting fairy garden sounds like your cup of tea, the wonder awaits at Georgell Doll Shop. Don’t forget your +1. Everyone is invited to bring a favorite stuffed animal or doll to the Dolly & Me parties. During warmer months, their riverside garden/patio is in full bloom, making perfect backdrop to any private event. Year round, their in-store party space is also available. From fairy garden magic and tiny tea parties to pajama parties and princess play, the imagination will run wild in our beloved shop. Georgell Doll Shop can accommodate up to 10 guests inside, with room for larger gatherings outside (from May-October, weather permitting). PAINT PARTIES AT THE ART COTTAGE
Time to party like Picasso! Even if you’ve never taken a dip in watercolor waters before, you’re sure to have a grand time brushing up on your painting skills at The Art Cottage. Consider them your party canvas, with a variety of customizable events offered. Gather a group of friends, make it a date night, or come all on your own. They also host private birthday parties for children and adults, so gather the folks and come paint some strokes. All party goers leave with a finished project they’ll cherish.

PONY PARTIES AT THE FARM
Giddy up! Your pony awaits at The Farm at Gardner Village! In fact, many rescue animals who’ve been given a second chance at life happily call The Farm home, and boy do they delight in seeing you! From birthday parties to play dates, The Farm creates an uncommon experience. Guests will feel like true farmhands as they feed darling baby animals and help gather eggs. Then it’s time to saddle up for a pony ride through The Village. Complete the experience with a treat. You’re welcome to bring hotdogs or marshmallows for roasting over the fire pit. COOKIE PARTIES AT NABORHOOD BAKERY AND CAFE
Calling all cookie monsters. It’s time to cut. it. out. Cookie dough, that is. This Naborhood Bakery party rolls out with the rolling of their divine sugar cookie dough. The fun really starts to take shape with the cutting of the cookies. They have many cute cutters to choose from. Once cut, cookies are off to our giant oven. Baking time is the perfect time to open presents, enjoy lunch, or devour a special Naborhood Bakery cake or treat. Then it’s time for the fun part! Party goers have a ball dressing their fresh batch of cookies with an assortment of provided frosting, colorful candy, and happy sprinkles. When it comes to sweet get-togethers, this one is the icing on any… cookie!

Cost: $20/person (ages 4-12)

Whether you’ve got a troop of little princesses to pamper or it’s an afternoon out with the girls you seek, Cottage Retreat Salon & Spa is your soothing destination. In true spa fashion, party planning is stress-free here, with several packages to choose from, a gift table space you’re welcome to decorate, and even an in-dining option with Naborhood Bakery. It doesn’t get much more unique than this! Archibald’s Restaurant is located inside the historic Gardner Flour Mill, built by Archibald Gardner in the 1800s. A site that now sits on the National Historic Register. Gardner Village has taken great care to ensure the mill’s historical integrity has remained intact. Here, old and new come together beautifully to create a modern, gorgeous dining atmosphere unlike any other in the state. With several private event spaces to choose from, there is a perfect and unforgettable area to host your next gathering. Two rooms come complete with large flat screen televisions and easy AV access, making slideshows and other presentations viewable from every seat in the house. Have your own playlist? Located right outside Archibald’s Restaurant, Mill Plaza is the newest addition to Gardner Village. Designed with private entertaining in mind, this outstanding outdoor space has a stage area for live music and presentations, plenty of room for tables and dancing, a fire pit, and the option to open up into the lower area of Archibald’s Restaurant for indoor seating and bar service. Set against the historic Gardner Mill and its famous waterwheel, as well as other unique water features and stone work, Mill Plaza is a photographer’s dream. Photos from your special gathering are sure to sparkle from any angle. Worried about the cold Utah weather? A 30’x50’ tent with radiant heat can be installed over the plaza to keep the party going all year long. This space is a must see. Complete any Gardner Village experience at our Naborhood Bakery outdoor pavilion. This large covered space features picnic tables that will comfortably seat your guests. Conveniently located across from Naborhood Bakery, you can have your meal or baked goods ready and waiting, giving you one less thing to worry about when it comes to pulling off the perfect event. Of course, outside food and drinks are also permitted if that’s an option better suited to your event needs. The pavilion provides you with a space to decorate and make your own, and it sits in the heart of Gardner Village. Gather here for a work outing, a family reunion, a play date, a birthday bash, or any other reason you have to celebrate in one of Utah’s most unique atmospheres.

HOST YOUR EVENT AT THE GATHERING PLACE
The name says it all. This private event space, located in Utah’s historic Gardner Village, is where groups come to gather. With a large indoor space that can be sectioned off into four smaller spaces, depending on your party’s size, as well as an intimate patio area (open in warmer months), there are many ways you can customize the space to fit your needs. They offer delicious on-site catering, a large stage area, full audio/lighting capabilities, a piano, plenty of display areas, linens, and more, making this a prime spot for entertaining of any kind. If a wedding ceremony or reception is in the works (congratulations!), you’ll also have access to our private bride and groom rooms, decorations, easels and other display elements, a cake knife and server, and much more. On the corporate side of things, there is plenty of space to set up a room arrangement that works for you, and AV access for presentations. No matter your reason for coming together, your event is sure to start off on a high note with convenient nearby parking. Guests will then be captivated as they step through our large double doors, into the gorgeous lobby, where a warm and inviting fire awaits. This is a lovely space to set up a guest book or gift area.
