In the late 1920's, a little girl named Lucile carried
a small porcelain doll in her pocket. She made all
of the tiny girl's clothes by hand, and later, purchased
even more dolls. Now her dolls are a large unique
collection of over 10,000.
Today, the spacious and well-lit Georgell Doll Shop
carries not only an exhibit from Lucile's collections,
but dolls of various seasons and sizes for purchase.
Not all of them are porcelain, Madame Alexander dolls
are always in stock.
Corolle baby dolls from France are warm and soft and smell
of vanilla- a scent that remains to love and enjoy
even after the doll has gone through the wash.
If you like vintage toys, try the tin windups
located near the front of the store, and don't forget
Raggedy Ann or Andy near the back.
Need clothes, a coat, sunglasses, tights, an umbrella
or hat, for that 18" American Girl, Gotz, Generation
or Magic Attic dolls? The Georgell Doll Shop has them.
