DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? If you love Halloween like we do at Gardner Village, and if you have an "inner-witch" that is dying to get out...then grab your hat and broom and fly into our first annual SO YOU THINK YOU'RE A WITCH CONTEST! You will have the distinct pleasure of being one of our fabulous witches, making appearances throughout the month of October. The contest will be held on September 11, 2009. A contest orientation meeting will be held at The Gathering Place on August 22, 2009 at 10:00 am. Audition involves an interview, a witchy outfit, a witchy talent, trick or spell and a cackle. HISTORIC SCAVENGER HUNT FOR FAMILIES

July is a time of reflection on the history of our great nation, state and Gardner Village. To celebrate this month, we're hosting our second annual Historic Scavenger Hunt! It's a fun event for children and families! The rules are simple: open the form and print it, visit the Village, and fill in the crossword, and you'll learn more about Archibald, Gardner Village and Utah's past. Answers can be found on the silver or brass plaques found on the fronts of the shops and in the lobby of Archibald's Restaurant and Country Furniture & Gifts. When you complete the hunt, return it to Naborhood Bakery to receive a cookie for just 25 cents!

BARNYARD BUDDIES PETTING ZOO & PONY RIDES

Meet some of your favorite farm animals face-to-face. Your children will pet rabbits, pigs, goats, llamas, a donkey, cow and more. Cost is just $2. Let your little wranglers take a pony ride for $3. Hand-sanitizing stations are available and Barnyard Buddies is USDA licensed. Located in the lot just west of Archibald's Restaurant. Open Mondays through Saturdays, 11 am to 6 pm, weather permitting.
